Stink Ant (Anonychomyrma Biconvexa)
Anonychomyrma biconvexa, or Stink Ants, are arboreal ants that nest inside eucalyptus trees. When threatened, they raise their abdomen and release a strong odor as a defense which is where they get their name. Colonies can grow up to 10,000 individuals, forming large foraging trails that travel down trees, across the ground, and up neighboring trees.
